Unit 4. The most important invention in history





  In groups of 4 decide what is the most important invention. You have to design a poster. WORKSHEET

On a piece of paper write some sentences around 4 themes:

1. The inventor: who invented it?, what was his/her profession? When was it invented? How was it invented?

2. The historical context: What was happening at the time of the invention where it was invented?

3. The advantages: what positive consequences has the invention? What can we do thanks to it?

4. The disadvantages: What negative consequences has the invention? What are the social consequences? What are the ecological effects?


Each member of the group takes responsibility of one item, looks for information and writes it down.

Make a draft of the poster: images, text, layout.

Design the poster
